General NPDES Permits for Storm Water Discharges From Construction Activities (GAR100001, GAR100002, and GAR100003) and Other Infomation [August 2008]

 

  • Industrial Storm Water

    The 2006 - 2011 NPDES General Permit No. GAR000000 for Storm Water Discharges Associated with Industrial Activity was reissued on June 16, 2006. The permit was effective on August 1, 2006. Coverage under the new permit can only be obtained by submitting the NOI - Version 2006. New facilities are required to submit their NOI at least one (1) week prior to the commencement of the industrial activity at the facility. Existing facilities will have up to thirty (30) days after the effective date to submit the NOI.   NOTE: Facilities sampling under Part III. C of the permit and facilities subject to a numeric effluent limitation in Part V of the permit must submit the Annual Report no later than December 31, 2007 (and on an annual basis threafter). All other facilities must submit the Annual Report no later than October 31, 2008 (and on an annual basis thereafter).

NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF PROPOSED TOTAL MAXIMUM DAILY LOADS (TMDL) FOR WATERS AND POLLUTANTS OF CONCERN IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA - APRIL 4, 2009

Notice is hereby given that the State of Georgia has the total maximum daily loads (TMDLs) for two segments of Lake Allatoona in the Coosa River Basin and is hereby noticing the TMDLs for public comment.  Final comments are due May 22, 2009.
